New: Constitution Dictionary and Word Quiz
Updated: October 2026
In October the app got a new section — “Žodynas” (Dictionary). It collects over 230 of the words used most often in the Constitution, each with an instant English or Russian translation, and a new word quiz helps you learn them.
The Dictionary section: words are sorted by how many times they appear in the Constitution.
Why learn the vocabulary
Exam questions and answer options are in Lithuanian, so the hard part is often not remembering a fact but understanding what is being asked. The Constitution is written in legal language: words like “įstatymas” (law), “teismas” (court) and “teisė” (right) appear dozens of times. Once you know the most frequent words, both the Constitution text and the exam questions become much easier to follow.
How the dictionary works
- Sorted by frequency. The most common words come first, each showing how many times it is used in the Constitution — for example, “įstatymas” ×153, “teismas” ×93.
- Translation. Pick EN or RU at the top and every word’s translation appears right away.
- Forms and an example. Expand a word to see the forms it takes in the text, a sentence from the Constitution with its translation, and the article number.
- Search. Find any word quickly with the search field.
The word quiz
The word quiz: choose the correct translation out of four options.
Tap “Žodžių testas” (Word quiz) to get 20 words. Each one comes with the sentence from the Constitution where it is used, so the context helps you work out the meaning. Choose the correct translation from four options.
The quiz adapts to you: words you got wrong come back more often, while words you already know reappear now and then so you don’t forget them. You can follow your progress and mistakes in the “Žodžiai” (Words) tab of the Statistics screen, and a finished word quiz also counts towards your daily study streak.
The dictionary is available to everyone. The word quiz can be tried once for free and is unlimited with the PRO version.
